United kingdom J. David Rosenberg Higher education of Legislation to Host Daylong Breonna Taylor Symposium

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 21, 2020) — The University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg School of Regulation is internet hosting a daylong symposium, “Say Her Name: Breonna Taylor,” beginning 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, above Zoom.

The symposium will aspect 5 panel conversations amid attorneys, regulation professors, activists, practitioners, politicians and students. The panels will probe the legal concerns surrounding the case — felony prices and defenses, lookup warrant inconsistencies, damages awarded to the relatives, the federal investigation, and the effects of race on policing.

Panelists incorporate lawyers for Breonna Taylor’s family and nationally acknowledged specialists in each legal law and procedure. Kentucky Point out Rep. Attica Scott will be the lunch speaker.
